CAHILL EXPECTS A BREATHTAKING 2022 WORLD CUP

 

Since it was approved and announced that Qatar will be the host nation of the FIFA World Cup – the 2022 edition, the country and FIFA have joined hands together and started making preparations to ensure it becomes a successful one.


Everything is still currently being put in place to ensure that the whole World Cup process preparation gets smooth. FIFA officials are already in the country monitoring works and everything else being done for the success of the showpiece event come 2022.

There were some set of people who were against the idea of Qatar hosting the World Cup, insinuating that there may be issues of no security or other minor issues, but those doubts are on the verge of getting quenched judging by how much work has been put to work to get the country ready, as well as the results that have been making the rounds.

Tim Cahill, a former Australia forward who featured for his country in the 2014 version of the competition has backed the country to continue preparations towards this cause and believes that the 2022 FIFA World Cup will surely be a breathtaking one.

He said that the tournament, which will be the very first one to be held in the Middle-East will capture the heart of viewers across the world, and that fans and spectators will have a great time watching the games that have been outlined to he played at the World Cup.

Cahill, who has played for Everton, Millwall, clubs in China and Australia said that everything about the 2022 World Cup is going to be different. From the technology to be used, the innovation to be employed, the Stadiums the games will be played in, and how the games will be officiated.

In his playing career, Cahill played for Australia in 108 games, including in four World Cups. He would then go on to score 50 goals for the Socceroos. The recently ordained Qatar 2022 World Cup Ambassador who turns 41 next month also highlighted that there would also be top-notch security at the event come 2022.
